Macie (Shippy Ranch's Cora Bella Mace)

Outdoors Macie is a tenacious tracker who finds everything and anything.  She and Rod hunt pheasant, woodcock, grouse and duck while Kolby and Macie hunt squirrel!  Her nose is always working on the family property - she is a tracking queen!  In the house Macie is a gentle, loving friend to everyone she meets and a motherly playmate to our three small dogs.  Macie has been the perfect hunting partner to Rod and pet to our family.

Macie has an excellent healthy soft coat that lays nice and flat with proper head and nice high ear set with correct length ears.  She has incredible furnishings on her ears, tail and underside.  She is an attractive, feminine looking SM with correct height, medium bone and muscle mass. Macie’s neck tapers nicely into her body and has good front angulation. Her rear angulation is good and well-balanced with the front.

Macie's Father - Angus (Brush Dale's All Guns Blazing)

Like Macie, Angus is a calm and well mannered dog in the house who is happiest when he’s laying close to John Mustain (owner).  He is gentle with family members and other dogs, loving and very laid back.  Angus has amazing patience with children or strangers who want to pet him, grab him or hug him.  In the field; however, Angus becomes an intense hunter with his nose to the ground and a beautiful point - tail straight up and feathered.  Angus is a quick learner, eager to please and passed his NAVHDA Natural Ability Test when he was 12 months old with a Prize I.
